mom2be Blogger Awards

November 2, 2009 by Amy R.

What is it & how to enter:

We’re excited to announce our first contest here at PregnancyCorner.com! There are lot’s mom2be bloggers out there and we would like your help in recognizing the best of the best. Whether they blog about being pregnant, recipes, books, art, fashion & beauty, money saving tips or just life, you can nominate them! Just briefly tell us:

  • Who they are (name and/or blog URL),
  • Why their blog is so great
  • What category they fit into from below…
    • mom2be
    • Single mom2be
    • Adoptive mom2be
    • dad2be (They deserve a chance too!)

How it works:

More than one blog can be nominated by different people and you can nominate as many different blogs as you like within all of the categories. Our staff will choose what we think are the top 3 bloggers for each category and then let everyone else vote (using PollDaddy.com) for the final winner within each category. Each final winner will receive a $50 babyGap gift card!

The timeline:

The contest kicks off today, November 2nd, 2009 and we will announce the top 3 nominees for each category on December 2nd, 2009. Then, the top 3 nominees have two weeks to get as many votes as they can. We will close the voting on December 16th, 2009 at 12pm central and in each category, whoever has the most votes will be the winner! We will make an official announcement shortly after the voting has closed.

Kate’s husband Adam also participates on the blog, sharing his feelings about the process and the emotions of fertility issues. It’s rare that you read a blog so honest and open — especially from both folks in the couple.

While they may not have a bun in the oven just yet, Kate and Adam have a great mom-to-be and dad-to-be blog, that’s enjoyable to read whether you’re a parent, expecting a baby — or even if you just enjoy a good laugh once or twice a day!

  40. FutureMama says:

I would be honored to be considered for this mom2be award. I’ve never been nominated/won any sort of blog award.. I’ve been trying to get my blog some more hits for a while now!

My blog, Hope Springs Eternal, started as a miscarriage recovery blog and evolved into a TTC blog for nearly a year while my husband and I were TTC after our loss. I poured my heart out in that blog for a year as we struggled to conceive again after losing our first baby. As of May of 2009 I’m happy to say it’s a Mommy to Be blog!!! Our little girl Nellie Rose is due January 2010. My blog is very sincere, and I throw in a little bit of humor and sarcasm here and there. I’d be honored if ya’ll would take a look and if you think it’s worthy, give it a nomination!!!

    Many thanks,
